Rain is our first home bred girl. She and her brother Riggs were from our first litter. She was born on a Rainy cold October night. She was the second of our 2 puppy litter. Riggs came into the world feet first without a care in the world, but his sister had other ideas. She decided to keep us waiting as long as she possibly could. 4 hours after brother Riggs was born and nursing happily with his Momma, Rain (course we didn't know what her name would be just yet), was still tucked snuggly inside her Momma. We tried all the tricks to get that second puppy out. We knew ahead of time there were only 2. Lots of walking Momma KC, little brother nursing frequently and even some medicinal help. She refused to come out and join the world.

So, after numerous calls to the vet, Momma KC and Baby brother Riggs were loaded into our van on a very cold and Rainy night. About hour into the road trip to the vet Miss Rain decided to make her entrance. She came out along side the interstate, in the van of course, with the cars flying by us. But at least she came before we made it to the vet and had to have a c-section! Thus, this is how Rain got her name!

Rain is a very loving and high spirited girl. She loves life and loves to make her presence known to everyone. She will NOT be ignored. And she knows how to weasel her way into everyone hearts. We are very proud of her, and she makes us Smile every day!

Rain finished her Championship out of the Bred By Exhibitor Class. She is very sound and has wonderful movement.

Rain is fully health tested and has a CHIC award.
