Riggs

Riggs is our first Home Bred Champion. I couldn't be more proud of this wonderful boy. Riggs finished his Championship out of the Bred-By Exhibitor Class with 4 Major Wins and a total of 18 points at 16 months of age. My dream since showing my own dogs was to have a Bred-By Champion. I still remember the excitement I felt the day that Riggs' Champion Certificate came in the mail. Seeing the name Champion Braveheart's Lethal Weapon on that certificate brought tears to my eyes. It was an accumulation of many years of hard work, sweat and tears. That day, it was tears of great joy in seeing our accomplishments in black and white on the AKC Certificate.

As proud as I am of that title, I am even more proud of the wonderful boy we produced. He is all any breeder could ever hope for in a Mastiff. He has size, type, and the most wonderful loving temperament. He is the true meaning of a Gentle Giant.

Riggs loves everyone, and recently we discovered he has a true gift with children and babies. Riggs recently displayed that wonderful temperament by obtaining his CGC and Therapy Dog Certificate at this years National Specialty Show in French Lick Indiana.

We have high hopes for Riggs in the Specials ring. So far in this young boy's Specials career, he has done quite well and has won quite a few Best of Breeds with limited showing. Though we feel Riggs will do well showing as a Special, we know this is only a part of what Riggs is all about.

We believe Riggs to be a true ambassador of the Mastiff Breed and we look forward to sharing his wonderful attributes with others as a Therapy Dog. It is something I have always wanted to do and I feel Riggs has that Special Gift. Thank you to Melody and Dave Fuller and Ch. Fantasy's DDA Thunderstruck, aka Daddy Stryker and Joan Horrocks, for entrusting us with our girl Ch. GoldenBears K.C. Silver Lining , aka K.C., and for being a part of the wonderful foundation we call Braveheart Mastiffs.
